This morning marked the official inauguration of the People’s World Summit on Climate Change and the Rights of Mother Earth in Tiqupaya, Bolivia. Organizers are calling it an alternative to last year's failed Copenhagen talks - one that puts front and center the needs and concerns of poorer nations many of which are expected to be hit hardest by climate change. It’s great to see that we
It’s great to see that we are moving in the right direction by holding the People’s World Summit on Climate Change and the Rights of Mother Earth in Bolivia in spite of the failed attempt in Copenhagen!! This is something we have to give top priority to this issue to protect the earth and ourselves from the after affects of climate change!! Hope they made some positive progress in the Summit for safeguarding our planet especially with regard to the interest of the poorer nations!!
