Disarmament deal in Niger Delta stalls over government inaction

A disarmament program which ended more than five years of insurgency in Nigeria’s Niger Delta region is at risk of collapse. The Nigerian government negotiated an end to the insurgency with a deal to rehabilitate the militants and address development issues in the impoverished oil-producing region. But not much has happened since the disarmament took place last October and former militants are growing impatient. Sam Olukoya reports from Yenagoa.
