Is there anything "alternative" about this report?

All we get in this report are the right-wing views of the candidates, and the "failure" of the two official capitalist-party candidates to address the usual right-wing concern about taxes and the "business environment". There was not a single word about who would be affected by tax cuts and the resulting budget cuts.

You could have at least interviewed the Socialist Party candidate, one of the nine candidates on the ballot (of the total of 12) whose existence you didn't even hint at, not to mention the write-in candidates. As it is, your report could have been on NPR, except that they might have done better. I wonder how many of your reporters, like many reporters and other programmers at the various Pacifica stations, are thinking when they do their reports about their future employment possibilities in corporate media.
