Organic farmers in California lose Monsanto suit for GMO crop contamination

Organic farmers are considering whether to appeal a federal court ruling that dismissed a legal action against the Monsanto corporation. Dozens of organic farms and businesses sought legal protection against lawsuits for patent infringement, should their crops be contaminated by Monsanto’s genetically modified seed.
