States crackdown on public’s recording of police action

In a number of states people who attempt to record the police interacting with civilians in public places, are finding themselves arrested and charged with felonies. Free Speech advocates say the interpretations of state eavesdropping laws in Florida, Illinois and several other states are being used to intimidate the public. Jerry Mead-Lucero has more on a few of these cases, including a prominent one in Chicago.
