Vice President Joe Biden is in the Middle East this week to promote a restarting of the stalled peace talks in the region. Today, he met with President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah. But the meeting was dominated with Tuesday's news from Israel that it had approved and planned to move forward with the construction of 1,600 homes in East Jerusalem. The building violates international law and is widely condemned by the international community. It came just hours after Biden had met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday. Now, the announcement appears to threaten the peace talks even before they are set to begin.

To get a deeper look at these events, we're joined by Phyllis Bennis, fellow at the Institute for Policy Studies and author of Understanding the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict: A Primer.

In between these two nations

In between these two nations lots of peace speak was held but nonetheless there is no result. The conflicts between these two nations are nonetheless in peek. Nobody knows Quick weight decrease if this war will come to finish.

it was a bit odd

It was also a bit odd that this even coincided with the arrival of Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton (whose trip was temporarily put on hold due to some kind of international health insurance issue). She was very disappointed in the actions of Israel on this one. Especially when the US is trying to mend the relationship between the Palestinians and the Israelis. This arrogance will not help mend the region!

Some months ago six ships

Some months ago six ships carrying pro-Palestinian activists and aid for blockaded Gaza, was attacked by Israeli warships. In that incident two people were killed and some were wounded.
Between these two nations lots of peace talk was held but still there is no result. The conflicts between these two nations are still in peek. Nobody knows when this war will come to end.

The Holy Land / A quote from Sheik Abdul Paleizo

"It is written in the Holy Qur'an that God granted the Land of Israel to the Children of Israel and ordered them to settle therein (Qur'an, Sura 5:21) & that before the Last Day He will bring the Children of Israel to retake possession of their Land, gathering them from all different countries & nations (Qu'ran, Sura 17:104). Consequently, as a Muslim who abides by the Qur'an, I believe that opposing the existence of the State of Israel means opposing a Divine decree." - Sheik Abdul Paleizo
