#GivingTuesday – Double Your Dollars with a Matching Pledge

Giving-Tues-LogoTrue to the spirit of #GivingTuesday, a generous individual FSRN supporter has offered to match your donation dollars today up to a total of $2,500.00!  Yep, he will double your dollars, making the bang of your buck twice as loud.  Giving Tuesday is really growing – and with your support today this global day of giving back really is an antidote to Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Again this year, we’ve compiled a one-of-a-kind wall calendar that we’d love to send to you as a thank you gift for your support.  Our 2016 calendar features stunning images of street art taken by FSRN coEditor Shannon Young in her home town of Oaxaca, Mexico. Click here for a peek at more of the images featured on the calendar.

We are also very pleased to have copies of  “#Thugs”: From Ferguson to LA 2014-2015, a new book by FSRN’s award-winning correspondent Lena Nozizwe, featuring photographs and interviews with protesters among the thousands of marchers who took part in demonstrations throughout Los Angeles, California and throughout the world in the year following the police shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. Available in both ebook and print, Nozizwe captures the birth of what many describe as the new civil rights movement.
