While tents are commonly seen throughout the 50-odd blocks of Skid Row, Gibson guitars, and even just the cases, are more of a rarity. A woman sleeping at the Beverly Hills Civic Center seems oblivious to the fact that volunteers have gathered in order to collect numbers on homelessness. A group of homeless census takers try to figure out if the van parked in Beverly Hills is doubling as shelter. Ultimately they decide yes. VA Secretary Robert McDonald has had an eventful week,from counting the homeless along Skid Row, to settling a lawsuit that should mean housing for homeless veterans. Skid Row veteran Dice with his wife, who goes by the name of Spice. He says they left Skid Row for Las Vegas in order to get married. But now they are back again.
