Slideshow: Life along the front-lines in eastern Ukraine quiet as cease-fire holds
Despite a few incidents of light weapon fire, a tenuous ceasefire in eastern Ukraine seems to be holding. Local residents remain wary of the quiet, expecting the tentative peace to shatter at any moment and afraid to let their guard down. Children are now back at school, but the front-line that divides the pro-Russian separatist areas from the rest of Ukraine, also divides the curriculum.
FSRN’s Filip Warwick visited the area, and talked to residents, educators and local officials. He brought back these photos.
